SOURCE: low beams don't work

there is two things that could be wrong .. check under the hood for your power distribution box .. its black and 3 inches wide and about 8 inches long .. this contains your relays. and some fuses. on the inside of the lid it tells which one is which.. look for low beam relay .. if it is ok check your low beam bulbs and make sure they arent burnt out.. these two things should fix your problem .. or at least one of these should .. holler if you need more. SOURCE: i have a 2001 chevrolet cavalier and the high beam

Sounds like its a problem with the light switch handle. Had it myself as well...
If you're savvy enough around car electronics take out the light switch handle, take it apart, find the problem and fix it. Inside the handle-switch you have several slide-switches and some double action slide switches.
Otherwise - get a different switch from a local junkyard or get a new one from your dealer.
Good luck.

My 87 k5 blazer headlights don't turn on when the car is started and running any more... all 4 headlights turn on fine when I pull the lever all the way out for high beams

The vehicle should not have to be running for head lights to burn.If high beams work, then the low beam head lights could be burned out, even though they light up with high beams. The dimmer switch, can be the problem if the head lights only work on high beam.

My low beam head lighjts do not work but the high

If you are absolutely certain the bulbs are okay, then change the switch. I would check for power at the socket first, to make sure it isn't bulbs.

03 Venture headlights stopped working. Everything else works--high beams, parking lights, instrument panel. I can't find a specific fuse for them. Any ideas?

When we pulled the headlights out both low beams were blown and the high beams were still OK, so we replaced both of them. I can't imagine that they both just blew at the same time, but maybe 1 had been out and I did not realize it till the other one blew? Thanks anyway.

A 99 Tahoe has separate bulbs for the High and Low beam. Low beam bulbs are used more frequently than the the High so they burn out first.
