SOURCE: Jeep wrangler Fuse box

i had the same problem. i drive a 95 so im not sure if it differs from were the fuse box is. look righ above you pedals to your far left. it should be right there. also if you instruments went out it will be a 15 fuse. its a blue fuse. next my panel went out cuz of the wires on my transmission. if yor looking at your jeep at the front. the wires will be on your left. make sure they are not burned or anything. it will be right on the side of your tranny. mind got burned by the exaust so they were shorting. check that is and see if that is what is it. for a temp fix just put some electrical tap around the wires and you should be set for a wile. good luck

SOURCE: 1988 Wrangler Ignition Switch Removal

There are four (sometimes two) bolts that hold the steering column to the dash. remove them & column will come down to let you get in there.
follow instruction sheet with switch. if you don't get it centered correctly it wont work correctly.

SOURCE: 2000 jeep cherokee sport fuse diagram

unfortinately the fuse box is under the hood and there is no panel inside the 2000 cherokee or diagram, i had to buy an online manual to find out what fuse went where for my jeep but its not with me. You can just pull the fuses out one at a time and look at them - I know its a pain. It might be your window controll switch - mine is bad as well. It is a common problem for these cherokees especially over 100k, they wear out - I initally thought it was my fuse as well because the lights in the window switch didn't light up anymore - but it is my switch.

SOURCE: 2000 jeep cherokee sport fuse diagram

Likely you are looking for a 30 amp circuit breaker...(Looks like a small rectangular metal fuse) But...if the power door locks work, i don't think that it's bad (serves locks & windows) My diagrams show a bunch of diodes and resistors inside the master (drivers) door switch, but I've had a few apart and never saw any. (embedded?) Personally I don't see anything that shows me reliability built into the switch...It's a really "iffy" design (one in my niece's Jeep only works when the sun shines on the drivers door) There is also a control module associated with the windows but I've never needed to replace one and the manuals never tell you where they are!
Check power at the switch and check harness where it goes through the rubber boot between the door and body. at least 80% of problems I've seen are either the switch or that wiring. Wires can be spliced and you can get a decent used switch at most scrap yards.
Good luck...glad they aren't stuck down!!!

SOURCE: Removing doors from Jeep Wrangler - Dome Light Stays On

I have a 97, and my fuse for that is behind the glovebox. Open the box, slide the end of the strap to disconnect it, then remove the box. The fuse is marked. Something like "Dome lt. elim." I think it's located one up from the bottom right. This can actually be done without removing the glove box. For a more permanent fix, quadratec.com has a switch that plugs into the fuse location and mounts under the dash, so you can just flip the switch. Hope this helps.

Where is the amplifier located on a 2012 jeep sport wrangler 4-door?

The factory Amp in a 2012 JK Wrangler both 2 and 4 door versions and all submodels with premium sound is on the drivers side beneath the steering column. You remove the pop out panel beneath the steering wheel and you will be able to see it. You will need a 7mm and 10mm socket to unscrew the remaining bolts for the other lower panels removal to actually get to the amp to remove it. Kicker makes a factory plug and play replacement unit with Mopar that is really good although the model will vary depending on if you have the premium sound upgrade option on your wrangler or not. Non premium sound models have no factory amp as speakers are powered by the deck however the amp harness is still there for the kicker upgrade. Some people have even managed to fit in some nice 5 channel powerhouses that don't heat up much like the marine grade alpine pdx and some others.

Remove the inner door panel and check to make sure that the linkage rod that goes between the outer handle and the latch is connected. It's possible that the plastic end clip broke.

How do I replace the interior LH door handle 97 Jeep Wrangler?

you will need a t-20 or t-15 torx bit driver to remove 2 screws holding the handle this is all that holds them on, on once you have a replacement handle it is easier to remove 2 lower screws on the door panel and unsnap the door panel to loosen it this will allow space making it easier to reinstall new handle just slide each end into the slot and reinsert 2 screws to not fully tighten until door panel is snapped back in. the panel is held on with clips and can be released using plastic pry tool around door panel edges.
