What is needed and how do I replace the springs on my 1987 ford ranger?

Replacing springs requires new U Bolts also
Raise and Jack stand Body then use floor jack at diff to raise rear diff and remove U Bolts Easy wat torch or Die grinder w/cutoff wheel then remove the shackle or Bushing Bolts 2 each side yank out old reverse procedure to Install 1&1/2 to 3 hours

1987 FORD Ranger pick-up where is the fuel pump located need to replace fuel pump not sure where it is


  • The fuel pump is in the tank. Have to drop the tank to access this one.

My 1987 Ford Ranger clutch does not work, can I put oil in reservoir?


first question would be does the reservoir need fluid??. if not.. then it sounds like the clutch needs to be replace.. most likely the throw-out bearing is dead.

sounds like a stcuck choke to me as well have you tried spraying the choke with lube or installing a new one?

new spark plugs probobly. get them tested first by a proffesional. take them out and show them to somebody at like a kragen and they should tell you
