Depends on the age and temps that vehicle has be subject too. Under hot conditions the temp in the cab rises rapidly and the capacitors in computor start to leak liquid over the circut board causing it to short out and malfunction. When it gets really hot around 44-45 degrees Centigrade i tend to malfunction a bit too due to liquid loss

What cause a vacuum hose on the driver side of the engine to collapse

The hose that collapses is weak and needs replacing. The engine vacuum cannot be all that great, normally runs around 17-22psi at idle and only increases a little during deceleration, not above about 26-28psi. Not enough to collapse a good vacuum hose.

What cause lower hose to collapse afer cool down

I would start by replacing the radiator cap. A bad cap can stop the flow of coolant from the coolant reservoir back into the engine when the engine cools down. This will cause a vacuum and collapse the hoses.

The other possibility is the lower hose is starting to get weak. This compounded with a radiator cap that is not functioning correctly will cause the the hose to collapse when the engine cools off.

2002 5.7l. What would cause the upper radiator hose to collapse?

When an engine is shut down, the coolant temperature begins to drop. If the vacuum valve in the radiator cap fails, the resulting vacuum in the cooling system can cause a radiator hose to collapse

My front brakes lockin up on my 92 eagle talon

The cause is most likely caused by a defective brake hose. The flexible line that runs to the caliper has collasped inside, causing the pressure to remain on the caliper. These hoses have a very small passage and easily collapse over time due to wear. Just a thought.

Engine starts but trans wont go

Hi, if the gearbox is a manual shift then the chances are that the clutch has gone or even the thrust bearing operating the clutch could have collapsed causing the problem your having.

If your gear box is an auto box then this would more than certanly mean that the gear box needs replacing as they are to expensive to repair your cheapest option would be to exchange yours for a reconditioned box.

Let me know what type of box you have then i can assist you further as it could be that the master or slave cylinder has gone on the clutch pedal if your gear box is manual type so let me know then i can assist you further ok

99 Suburban steering box???

Check your collapsible steering column. They are a two piece design and one collapses inside the other on inpact so the driver will not be inpaled on the steering shaft.. When they are loose it creates play in the steering wheel. I think GM may have a service bulletin on it but I am not sure.
If no trouble found it may be the valve in the steering box.
