SOURCE: Turn Signal Flasher location in 93 Mustang GT

The flasher is a small round plastic cylinder (unless replaced with a metal one) behind the left edge of the glove box that will look similar to the one in the fuse panel. The first step is to squeeze gently both sides of the open glove box and let it swing downward. It will be snapped into a metal horizontal brace just to the left of the glovebox opening by a small tab and have two wires attached. The number more than likely will be a #552 although I have seen a factory one with a Warner #224

SOURCE: 96 Ford Taurus no turn signals or hazards

Take the turn signal lever and jiggle it, a lot. If they start working, the switch is bad. You can also turn on the hazards and take hold of the button and push it left , right , forward and back and see if they start working. If so, replace the turn signal/ hazard switch.

Turn signals not working but hazarads work

Can you confirm that the turn signals are lighting, but not flashing? If so you are on the right track...should be the seperate flasher unit for the turn signals...you will need to remove the dash panel under the steering wheel drivers side to find the flasher. If the outside signals are not lighting up, the problem is most likely the turn signal harness inside the steering wheel...this part is usually available at auto parts stores less costly than the dealer...Hope this helps.

My turn signals and emergency flashers work some time where is the turn signal flasher relay located and how do you detach it?

For 1998 Ford Truck Explorer 4WD 4.0L EFI SOHC 6cyl the Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, behind dash, mounted on steering column.

Both the turn signal flasher and the hazard warning flasher are mounted on the fuse panel on the truck. To gain access to the fuse panel, remove the cover from the lower edge of the instrument panel below the steering column. First remove the two fasteners from the lower edge of the cover. Then pull the cover downward until the spring clips disengage from the instrument panel.

The turn signal flasher unit is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, and the hazard warning flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel.

Hope helps.

1998 taurus - turn signals were working - pushed the hazard lights button - hazards did not work and also now turn signals do not work

Check the fuse/relay panel for a blown fuse/relay. Also look at the turn signal flasher and the four way flasher located in fuse/relay panel for problem. If the fuses are good replace the flashers to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.

Flashers not working

pull the fuse panel cover and the cover will show you where the correct fuse is.

Does the emergency (four way) flasher system work?

Make sure the four way flashers are OFF , as the turn signal indication lamp system will not work with the four ways ON.
