There are 2 different engines for this van. Here is a video for the M111 2.3 Liter

1999 Mercedes SLK Kompressor, can not locate the oil plug to change the oil...where is location?


The oil plug is located on the oil pan. If i remember correctly, on the M111 engine, it should be on the driver side at the lowest point on the side. You may have to remove a lower shield or belly pan to see it. They are usually 8mm bolts. I use an oil extractor or evaluator so I don't touch the drain plugs. I hope this helps.

yes it has a timing belt.and when you fix it there are marks you have to follow or set its the timing mark.
