Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a jimny that is being salvaged and need to drain petrol from tank.
If it does not have a drain plug then you could disconnect fuel line and place in container and connect + to fuel pump at tank and neg to earth .Should pump out most of it.

now either way you do this ALL the gas is not going to be out of your take but most of it will.
There are two ways
1. pick up a siphon at autozone or a similar store, and follow the instructions that come with.
2. the other way is find your fuel filter, and disconnect the ingoing fuel line connected to it. Figure out where you are going to drain the gas, then turn your ignition on and off until fuel stops coming out

It is in the tank, on top of the tank. It must be dropped to access the fuel pump. If You turn the key forward till your auxiliaries come on, you should here the fuel pump if you listen with your ear to the gas pump spout. It will make a dull whiny noise if it is working.

should be a silver canister under the truck, probably bolted to the frame. I can't tell from your post what you're working on. Looks like Suzuki jimmy? What ever. it should be under it.

No however, you can unplug the fuel line from the injector rail and apply 12v power to the fuel pump diagnosis wire located on the drivers side fender and that will allow you to pump it out through the fuel line.
