Your nearest mechanic might have a compression tester/meter to verify it. Sometimes it depends on the degree of overheating that will cause damage to the top gasket and piston rings. A warped engine head is likely also.

Could a bad ground be causing my turn signals and blower motor fuses to be burning out?

short in one of the bulb sockets for the backup lights is the most likely cause, water getting into the light is another. the only other thing i can think of is if there is a short in the neutral safety switch.

1994 plymouth voyager heating problems. Just

After the car warms up feel the heater hoses that go into the fire wall from the motor both should be warm if only one is warm and the other is cool the heat valve that opens the flow of antifreeze to the heater core is not functioning locate the valve (either under dash in passenger compartment or in the egine compartment) it has a vacuum line going to it and it should have vacuum when the heat is on if not replace the vacuum line or valve itself. Back flush heater core and also be sure the level of antifreeze is up to the top low antifreeze will cause no heat to occur.

I have a 1996 Plymouth Voyager van that dies and starts

The very 1st thing that must be done here to start diagnosis of this problem is to have the PCM (powertrian control module) scanned for fault codes, that is key to fixing this right first time. In most area's Autozone and O'reilly auto parts do this test for free (except California).

SETTING TIME ON 1994 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER

Hi LMSADA,

Contact the parts store that sold you the timing belt and they should be able to give you the timing settings on your van.

You know if you are going to keep doing major work on your van it would be worth your while to purchase a Chilton's book that is specific for your van.

Have you "tuned" it lately - ignition parts (spark plugs, wires, etc...,)

1999 Plymouth Voyager. Van acts like it does not want to start sometimes.

Gee......since you haven't listed too much info...kind of hard to tell u what to do next. Need more information. Is the "check engine" light on? When was the last tune up? How many miles?
