What happened when u sprayed the starter fluid in? Did the engine fire at all, or just kept on cranking over, no hint of starting?

SOURCE: spark plugs

You'll have to remove part of the upper intake. Remove the coils one at a time. The spark plugs are located under the coils.

SOURCE: car engine will not crank

on the starter there is a big battery cable and a small signal. wire connect a test light to the signal wire and try to crank the engine. if the light comes on then you will need a starter. be sure you have good connections first good luck.bye the way the light should only be on when you hold the key in crank pos.if the light is on all the time you are on the wrong wire.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

I have a 2001 dodge durango 5.9lL and it wont start. I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the key half way but when I turn it all the way the starter turns but the engine wont turn over

It sounds like you are not getting spark from the spark plugs. The ignition coil controls the spark. The crank sensor also controls the spark. If I had to guess I would say test or replace the ignition coil. If tests okay i would do a resistance test on crank sensor. But at my shop I have seen many Ignition coils go bad.

Rough idle codep0300 2004 durango

po300 is random misfire detected from the ecm. could faulty spark plug wires or coil causeing the problem. also check spark plugs as well. use a inline tester to check fire from the coil to plugs. if fire from coil is good on each plug then change the plugs. hope this will help you!!!!
