Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
Went for a ride car worked fine. Turned car off and did some erands came back started and car just kept dying. When it would run it ran very ruff and had to keep my foot on the gas. Thought we had ice in the lines so add gas-line anti-freeze. Still wouldn't start decent. Eventually got it started and it seemed to be running fine. When to the next stop, left the car ideling and it stalled. Had to tow it home. After letting it sit for 2 hours it started no problem. Went for a ride late the evening, no problems. Took it to church the next day, no problem. After the service tried to start it and it kept dying. Finally got it to run, it was pretty ruff, had to drive with both feet. (This is an automatic.) Got on the highway and it started to hesitate, put it to the floor and managed to keep it running. Tried to start it the next day, it will start but not stay running. You can hear the fuel pump making noise, so the pump is not completely dead.
You could also check the fuel injector wires, sometimes they come loose if the clip broke somehow
