SOURCE: Sunroof won't open/close
Try this!!! There is a Tilt button and a seperate open/close button I belive . try holding the Tilt button up while holding the open/close button up also at the same time.WHILE THE CAR IS ON!!. Then turn your car off while still holding the buttons up. Then turn your car on again and should work un its totally fried from the rain. What this does is it re-programs your sunroof to work again. Hope this works

hold the vent button until the roof has "tilted" completely, then hold the open button until the roof has opened completely. the light that reads ASC should now be green and your sunroof should operate normally.

03 Jeep Liberty sunroof wont close. I have 4 sunroof buttons; Open, Close, Vent and ASC. Open and Vent buttons are working fine. Close button is not responding. ASC button is flashing red and green but does nothing when pushed. I have no way to get it closed

SOURCE: I have a 2002 Jeep
First I suggest go to fuse panel check fuse marked sunroof pull fuse and look at
it to see if blown if fuse is ok then go to control switches for sunroof
removed sunroof switch assembly and remove connector off switch then
turn ignition switch to run position or start car take a test light hook
ground wire on test light to a good ground then take test light probe
and probe each terminal for power if test light lights - up wiring is
good then you have a bad sunroof switch assembly replace switch.
Keep us updated.
