How do I reset the "Oil Change Warning Indication" on colorado

Hi. I've recently changed the Oil/filter on my dad's 2006/2007 chevy colorado for the first time. Now how do I get the oil change warning indication to go out, now that the oil change has been completed. Thank You.

If you have a owners manual read it. try coloradofans.com website and search the forums. i think johnny5846 is right if you don't have a DIC (driver info center). i believe you use the DIC(tripodometer). i don't know the sequence off hand, you can also you can change your lock settings and alarm settings, etc. with the DIC.

Turn the ignition key to the on position with the engine off and depress the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds , if the change engine oil light flashes 5 times , the oil life monitor is reset . if change engine oil does not flash , oil life monitor has not been reset , repeat this procedure .
