The airbag light on my 2002 dodge ram 1500 pickup stays on

It used to sometimes go off but now it just stays on

    The airbag light dings and comes on then goes off. It will be off for a long time then, ding it will come on again.

You need to have it checked out.with the light staying on in an accident the airbag may not deploy. the most likely cause is a bad clockspring but further diagnosis is needed

Check all connections under drivers seat they may be loose even if they appear to be connected

#1 Does it have Criuse Control ? if it does and the Criuse Does not work also then the Problem is
what Dodge Calls A Clock Spring , Located behind the Sreering wheel, upon removal of steering wheel!!!!!!!!! AFTER OF COARSE NEG BATTERY TERMINAL & Yellow Airbag connecter!!!!!! under dash and most likely close to steering Collum

Yes it will fit but why, it is a very poor engine choice as they are fraught with mechanical problems. the 5.2L is a better choice.

There are usually two fuses on the panel. Pull them out. Light will stay on though.

Head lights on my 1997 dodge ram 1500 pickup stay on when i turn off ignition switch. it is not head light switch. pulled out of dash.


under the driver inner fender is where dodge usually put their daytime runnig light moduals find it,unplug it,the lights should be fine.if you don't need it by law everything else will work normally except the high beem light will no longer work.

It might be a blown fuse that is causing it to light.

you may have to change the clock spring inside the steering colume, it may be losing continuity.

4x4 has 3 bolts in back of knuckle take them loose and tap on them to force the hub out of the knuckle
