high i have a 2002 merc vito. there is exaust fumes coming through the air vents when moving. i have to keep the air circualting with in the cabin to stop it, but does any one know how to fix my problem?

It is either under the Windshield Wiper Cover, just forward of the firewall or in the TRUNK of the car.

We do not have this engine and model in the USA so have no technical information on it. Sorry.

These are all function of the Body Control Module. You need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer and access to factory technical bulletins.

you cant adjust manually if it wont idle properly you have a fault maybe air leak check the manifold and all hoses connected

Mercedes vito heater not working have checked all the fuses and they seem to be ok, it does not work on any setting at all, it was working then it was working now and again now it has ceased altogether can...

Change the brushes in the heater motor.

Common fault on Merc Vitos and sprinters.

Brushes are on ebay. Search for "heater brushes"
