Question about 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
The battery is hidden with no room. is there a special way
There should be a post near the strut tower with a red plastic cover. The positive jumper cable goes there, and the negative can be hooked up anyplace there is a good ground to the engine or frame.

Assuming it will start again once it is warmed up, it is likely the battery is in poor condition/will not hold a charge. Unhook the battery once the car is running; if it continues to run, your charging system is probably OK, and the problem is likely to be the battery. If the problem continues after replacing the battery, you probably have a slow drain or short somewhere in the wiring harness. Best of luck on that one.
