Question about Cars & Trucks
Maybe on either side of car near the floor- on sides,
where your feet would be. Could google for a pic
Lets keep in mind-- that is not your problem
Why--because unless to were in a very serious
accident the switch won't be open, thus any fuel
related issues are not the switch
You should have wiring diagrams, so you can test
the complete system at one point, very quickly, instead
of guessing & wasting time doing nothing

You need 4,6 qts of 5W-20 motor oil. If I were you I'd start right now to use synthetic oil. If you decide to do it - go with "The First in Synthetics" and the best: Amsoil! 5W-20 XL motor oil gives you (guaranteed) protection for 7.500 miles. (Do not fall for warranty cancellations or similar dealership spam. Magnuson-Moss act prohibts cancellations based on brand). Read this: http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilterstudy.html or this: http://www.lesabret.com/filters/filter.html and try to avoid Fram filters. It seems that any other filter is better than Fram. I'd recommend Amsoil, Wix, Carquest (made by Wix), Mobil...

You will have a bit of old oil left in the system if you just drain it and change the oil filter. My guess it is a 5qrt system so 10% would account for 1/2 qrt. May not seem like a lot but your crankshaft, valve train and pan can hold residual oil that may account for your 10%, also sludge and other deposits too. Now the way you actually change oil, at a dealership or higher end service stations, they use a cycling system to send in fresh oil through the car and pump out the old. Once the color changes or my guess the computer on the device says the oil is completely clean then all the residue is gone and everything is good and the light will go off. This is wonderful since it removes sludge and all sorts of gunk out of the engine.
