Does a 2001 Saturn S Series have a fuel pump reset button? The fuel pump can be heard, the relay switch clicks and the fuel pump fuse is good.

No reset button check to see if the fuel filter is old. I had one that was clogged up and we had changed the pump for nothing.

I currently have a 2001 l series Saturn that is turning over but will not start. Any suggestions? thank

It could be a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump. To check if its the fuel pump, get some starting fluid, remove the air intake and squirt some down in the intake. You'll need a helper for this one. Have him try to start it while you spray. If it starts and runs only for a moment your fuel pump is bad.

My 2001 Saturn, will start but not stay running. We have checked the fuel pump and all fluids. Did a compression check this morning, fuel injectors are not injecting fuel into fuel rail. Why is engine...

You said, 'fuel injectors are not injecting fuel into fuel rail' but it's my understanding that the fuel rail gasoline is supplied by the pump, and the fuel injectors just pulse to allow fuel to get to the cylinders. I would check out the fuel delivery problem further. Check for pressure in the fuel rail that is within specs.

If not, then the pump or fuel pressure regulator may be the problem. Check the fuse for the fuel pump. If good, then the pump may be bad in the tank.

Good luck on this.

A couple of weeks ago we parked oye 2002 Saturn L200 and later it would not trys to turn over but won't husband replaced the engine coils and emission control module but it still...

I would try a fuel pump first. Make sure that the spark plugs are getting spark. If they spark then there is a very good chance it is the fuel pump. I would spray some starting fluid in the air filter, if the car starts then it is going to be most likely the fuel pump.

2001 saturn l200 2.2 liter. It is getting spark and I'm assuming fuel because I can smell fuel. The motor turns over but will not start. Where do I start?

You may have washed the cylinders with fuel and have no compression, try removing the spark plugs and put a little oil in the cylinders (save time and do a compresion check), replace the plugs and try to start, it's going to smoke, but it will go away.

Car won't start

There is a recall on this model for problems with the Engine Control Module/Coil Pack. This causes the engine to not start. Take it to the nearest Saturn dealer and get it repaired free of charge. This problem can eventually burn up your catyletic converter which will lead to much more costly repairs. There are actually 3 recalls on this vehicle. Take it to the dealer and get it taken care of. It will be like driving a new car once the repairs have been made!
