Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

From start to end troubleshooting these problems I suggest you to check the help link below and follow its procedure: -----

See if you can hear the fuel pump when you bump the starter, or get a fuel pressure reading. There should be a signal wire under the hood on driver side by fire wall, add voltage to that and listen for fuel pump, if no noise come from gas tank bad fuel pump.

Where do i locate the crank sensor on a 1992 mustang 5.0

the '92 doesn't have a crank sensor - the distributor is geared directly to the crankshaft. Usually only cars that have coilpacks (vs traditional distributors) have crank sensors.

I have a 1992 Ford Mustang 2.3L. The timing belt broke when I was driving and the motor shut down fast. I have replaced the timing belt and set the timing. BUT NOW I have no spark. any ideas..

Check your crank sensor. Sometimes, it can be put back in backwards causing no signal from the crank, therefore no spark. Check to see if there is signal coming out of the sensor, this is the first step to FixYa.

Won't crank!

Hello!
Looking at the brief description given, You say no fire at the distributor? With the cap off does the rotor turn when engine cranked? Also surely you have electronic ignition? so do you mean Spark at coil/plugs?
Although you are getting fuel to the intake this is supplied via electric fuel pump, if the rotor doesn't turn you may have a broken/snapped timing Belt/chain.
When cranking does the engine turn over easier than before? also does it sound like someones taken the plugs out?
I hope this helps, Let me know more if you can't suss it.
