You can try removing the battery negative cable for a few minutes which may reset the computer. If it doesnt, you will need a scan tool to plug into the data caonnector to clear the codes. It is possible that there were more than one code so even if u think u fixed everything, check the codes that are stored. If the light goes off when you reconnect the battery terminal, and comes back on again when u drive it, u have ither issues you need to address. A scan tool (trip to the dealer/garage/autozone) would be my preferred method to resolve it properly.

Your car computer is trying to tell you something. go to a mechanic and put their tester on the out fit under the dash. They will tell you the problem. might just need resetting.

Engine reduction warning comes on along with check engine light came on

Never replaced a throttle body in 35 years of working on cars. Here's my advice don't go to autozone to fix your car, they sell parts not smarts. Did they tell you a code # or something. Usually engine performance problems stem from fuel or ignition problems. Does the engine perform ok? Let me know.

How do you reset the "engine warning light" on the dash ?

you can try to disconect the battery for about 15 min i suggest that might work , or you can get a code reader from a mechanic which i believe can be reset thru that those codes will tell you whats causing your check engine light to come you can reset it thru the code reader but if its the isuuse not fixed your check engine light will come back on.

How do you reset the check engine light on a 2001 Pontiac sunfire after oil change

Well the check engine light is not on because the engine oil needs to be changed. The light is warning the driver the computer has found a problem that can affect performance and emissions.
The computer has to be scanned for trouble codes then the problem has to be fixed before the light can be turned off.

Is there a reset button to reset ur check engine when it come on so that I can reset it myself

No. Your vehicle is not equipped with any "reset" button to reset the check engine light.

If you want the check engine light to turn off, the proper method is to scan your onboard computer network to check for stored fault codes. Then you perform the diagnostic tests that are indicated by the fault codes. In doing this, you then pinpoint the actual cause of the failure. Once the cause of the failure is determined, the appropriate corrective action must be performed to fix the fault (replace part, repair electrical circuit, reprogram computer, etc.). Only then, should any "reset" be performed. This requires the use of a scan tool that can interface with the onboard computer network and perform all of the functions required to complete the system tests and determine the cause of the fault and also to verify that the fault has been corrected.

Failure to do it this way will only result in repeated system failures (with the light coming right back on), poor fuel economy, and possible severe engine/emission system damage, which will cost a LOT more money to fix. (Which is WHY the manufacturer did not provide you with any "reset" button.)

The "maintenance required" light came

It's just a mileage-triggered light that reminds you to perform routine maintenance on your vehicle. It can be reset. Instructions to reset should be found in your owners manual or on Youtube.

MY INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT STAYS ON.THERE IS NO ENGINE FAULT.ENGINE MALFUNCTION LIGHT. JAGUAR X TYPE 3.00 HOW CAN I TURN THIS OF. OR RESET IT OR REMOVE A FUSE

I assume that you have the equipment to read the OBD codes, as you say there is no fault, this being the case you should be able to reset the fault indicator with this equipment. Otherwise you will need to perform drive cycles to clear it (you will find these at http://www.bluejag.co.uk ) or just sit back and relax it will turn itself off in time.

How to reset check engine light on 1997 dodge neon

Stop by an autozone/advance or napa auto parts store, and they will scan your car and tell you what trouble code turned on the light and clear it for you. I know at autozone it's a free service but I
believe most of the big chain parts stores have followed suit. Hope this helps.

Need to remove fluid rotator valve

I believe that is only in variable valve timing engines, and it not something that should be under taken lightly.
Why do you think you need to do it?
It will require resetting the timing chain.
Not recommended unless absolutely necessary.
