If you have a 12v test light you can test each fuse in the fuse box. Connect the test light cable to a good ground. Turn ignition to on/run position and using the test light probe, touch one side of a fuse and then the other side. Test light should light on both sides of the fuse. If it only lights on one side of a fuse then that fuse is blown. It says the amp rating on the fuse. Check all fuses, as there could be more than one fuse blown. Replace fuses with the same rating as the blown fuse. If you don't have a test light, you can get one at any auto parts store or even WalMart has them. Shouldn't be more than 4 or 5 dollars. 2001 cigarette lighter fuse for pathfinder
The fuses to all the electrical work inside the car is located on the driverside right next to to e-brake you can say right next to where you rest your left foot. Their is a lid that opens sideways and on the lid it shows you a diagram and tells you what every fuse is for. Just swap out the burnt one and you should be good to go.

No power going to cigarette lighter in Nissan Murano '05
I troubleshot this issue and found the problem to be a defective power plug. There was no connection from the ground spade lug to the receptacle. The fix is easy. Just remove the plug, unplug the electrical connector and replace the bad unit. I found a similar one at Wal-Mart for under $6 that had a compatible electrical contact configuration.
This seems to be a design problem with the power plug. There are no visible signs of contact burn or corrosion... simply an open on the ground side of the housing.

That's where a $5.00, 12 volt test light comes in handy. All you have to do then is touch tip on ends of fuses to see if they are good or not. No pulling fuses and no head scratching wondering which one it might be. If you have power on one side, but not the other, you found the blown fuse. It certainly is not uncommon to find the bad fuse, labeled wrong, or added in with something else that makes no sense at all.

Fuse #13 is the cigarette lighter 15amp and for the back seat power socket check fuses #27-10amp, both under the dash and #51 15amp under the bonnet.
