If you look in the dash where the clock goes, you will find the 4 pin plug for the clock taped off to the side with blue tape- they all had wiring for the clock, regardless of wether or not they were actually equipped with them.

I had to replace the magnetic pick-up sensor on the side of the distributor that tells the coil when to fire on my 86 truck. It was $80 and slips onto the distributor held on by the cap.

I understand that '86 4Runners were built on a Toyota pickup chassis. What model pickup was that? I'm looking for a trailer hitch, but catalogs don't list the '86 4Runners. They start at '87s. So I...

If what you say is true. The only pickup it could possibly be is the Toyota Pickup. CURT offers the 13086 hitch for the 84-95 light pickups. If there is a lot of rust, this is going to be rather difficult as the bolts mounting the bumper will more than likely need to be cut. I can't find any information confirming fitment, but i'm sure this is your best bet. Custom fabrication would be your only other option.

You could use a probe type tester - relatively cheap at an automotive supply store. Ground the clip side to a good clean ground and turn on the system you want to tap into and test for current by sticking the probe side into the wirre you suspect is the circuit you are looking for. Be careful not to jab your hand or stick the probe straight through and short the probe to ground. Have someone apply the brakes for you and test forbrake circuit. Green and yellow wires on your kit are brakes, green is right turn, yellow is left turn, brown is running lights and white is ground.

I need to know if there is an after market wiring harness for my 2001 toyota tundra and also what the OEM part number would be. I need the pigtail harness that connects to each of the rear taillights,...

You don't need the OEM part, Go to ebay and find one, or any parts store. I bought one for my truck, worked great. It has all the little electronic gizmos on it you need to blink with. Snaps right in the sockets, and no wire cutting. Check it out.

May have a plugged catalitic conveter or muffler. So do you know which plug is #1? the very front one also make sure that you start with the number one plug slot it shold be marked with 1 then go around it, you may have damaged the plug wires when pulling them off. And Buy OEM for your toyota there are plugs that just won't run in the toyota engines also set the gap on the plugs they are never right from the store.
