SOURCE: I need to replace the water pump on my 2004 isuzu

Tipping my hat to you... I would recommend going to an auto parts store like Autozone or O'Reilly and purchasing a Chilton repair manual, specific to your model. I always think it's a good idea to own a light repair manual if you're going to keep the car a while.
Good luck with the project! You can do it!!

SOURCE: my gas mileage is horrible. what can i do to fix

Okay... K&N drop-in filter, NGK V-Power plugs (and NGK wires), run tires 2-4psi over manufacturer's recommendation, replace fuel filter anually, use a good fuel system cleaner every oil change, use synthetic oil in the crankcase, transmission AND differentials, drive with windows up and A/C off (just vents), drive 55mph on freeway (this one is HUGE), slow acceleration and try not to drive short distances. These are all "hyper-mileage" techniques that garner better fuel economy. If there is a mechanical problem causing the fuel economy to be bad, the spark plugs, wires and filters ought to be a help.

i hope this helps out,

No, there is not one available. However, the Chevy Trailblazer is basically the same vehicle and there is a repair manual available for that.

2004 Isuzu Ascender keeps misfiring, losing acceleration and sputtering when stopped at a red light or stop sign. Changed camshaft position censor.Found oil all over the threads on two plugs

The first thing i would do is replace plugs after checking if wires areok. I thought my fuel pump was going out but all it was, was bad plugs and wires. i replaced them and my gas mileage went up 50%.

On the I6 engine, it's on the front of the engine on the block near the camshaft. Directly below where you put your oil in.

Were is O2 sensor in ascender 204 engine

ah crapp, its 2014 post , got sucked in....

same on all cars, you meant 2004 engine right, but no engine stated. ok 4.2L I-6, LL8 by GM. used on also.
Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, and Oldsmobile Bravada

there are 2,
one before the cat, and one behind it. (most cars)
its the only thing on exh, header with wires...
that melt.
just knowing that the sensor measure, oxygen at the exhaust collector answers that))
Some engines, I-6 for calif laws, have split exhaust manifolds
and acts like V6, 2 senors front 1 rear of cat. for 3 total
i just look first for split headers... below is not, its regular kind
the 02 front is here.

here is the fed version

I have a 2004 Isuzu axiom my check enegine is on .I put new sensors on it ,but the light is still on.

Most people have the misconception that a trouble code tells you what part to replace. The fact is the code tells the mechanic only what to check.
The problem could be a sensor, or a wiring harness, or something mechanical.

2005 S Isuzu Ascender Speedometer niddle moved all the way to the right of gage and as not moved.

If the odometer is working correctly, the problem is inside the speedometer head.
The speed sensor would be on the side of the transmission if the odometer is not working.

Can a rear end collision cause a speedometer on a 2004 Isuzu Ascender not to work?

not sure if a rear colision could cause that but your speed sensor is bad. the speedometer was off and most of the time not working at all, i had the dealer look at it (under warranty at the time) and they replaced the speed sensor and everything is all good now.

are you doors locking automaticly? i guess the speed sensor is hooked up to the auto locks to lock the door when you put it in gear, and mines were not locking at that time also.
