SOURCE: truck starts, dies. truck runs good some days, bad the next

I had the same problem with My 1990 F150 300 6cylinder 4x4.....I cahnged all the same things you did, finally I sprayed a can of Gumout through the throttle body and it worked and ran great. Now I add fuel injector cleaner to the gas and a regular clean with the gumout and the problem has'nt come back. Good Luck to you and hope it works!

Check and see if the EGR valve is leaking, to check this spray water on it at idle, if the water steams off the valve is leaking and is the source of your problem, also are you sure you hooked the new DPFE sensor up right? re-check it..

I would take it in and have them do a diagnostic on it, sounds like the cam shaft sensor to me.

Codes p0141,0134,0135,0300

Thw first 3 codes indicate 02 sensor problems, so on that change those sensors and that should clear that up, the 0300 is and engine misfire, I suggest changing at least the cap and rotor and maybe even the wires as damage may have occured, its simple, relatively cheap and shoudl get you on your way.

Would a code 720 cause the following problem?

No the speed sensor will not cause misfires at higher speeds and this sensor is located on transmission case up high and towards the tail shaft Not in the tail shaft that one is the vehicle speed sensor and it sets a po500 code.

2000 ford excursion. OD light blinks, shifts hard, idles rough, kills some times. Turn off, restart and it clears until stop at red light or go in reverse then light blinks again. Changed both sensors on...

If you've changed the sensor and still getting the code, then the problem is either a wiring harness issue OR, you really do have an internal transmission problem.

I had my Honda checked because the engine light came on and it came back with the codes (P700)(P720) I know I need to replace my transmission speed sensor but what is the other code tell me.

is this a generic code or manufacturers code as i cannot find these number in any of the codes

P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

P0720....Output Speed Sensor Circuit

hope this helps

Throttle body was changed on a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 6.1L the truck idles rough then dies. How do you reset the computer?

If your getting a check engine light on the dash, you need to correct the problem first,If you want to clear codes from the computer, you will need to unhook the battery for about 1min.
But there is no resetting of the computer. If your truck is idling rough and dying, you still have a problem somewhere,You should be looking for any vacume leaks,or one of the sensors on the throttle body like the IAC,idle air control,

Rough idle after check engine code cleared

I would check for any vaccum leaks,
You can take a spray bottle of water and spray around the intake manifold with the car running at idle.
The idle will change and get worst if the intake is leaking.
The intake gaskets could be the failure. I know autozone can get into the computer and clear the codes for free.

good luck
