Question about 1995 Buick LeSabre

My parents have a 95 Buick lesabre and it will not start once it is turned off until the car cools completely off. They have had the fuel pump replaced 3 times within a year and just recently replaced plugs and wires. One mechanics has told them that it is a heat sensor. Does this sound right and where is it located at? Thanks in advance for any suggestions./

I doubt it.
Someone would need to find out if it is lacking fuel to the injectors or spark to the plugs when it will not start. Once you know that you can troubleshoot the problem. It could be anything from a faulty relay to a faulty coil among other things.
I would be curious as to why it has needed 3 fuel pumps.

3.8 V6 Fuel Injection? Could be ther fuel filter, which if I remember correctly is affixed under the car just near the driver's seat. That's a low-$$ fix. Could also be the Mass Airflow Sensor. A qualified mechanic could tell you right away if that is the case. I'm no doctor nor do I play one on TV. Best of luck.

do you get fuel pump pressure, should be about 40 psi what about compression and spark on a saturn would be stronger due to many reasons one of which being different voltage of coils

Hello I a m trying to locate the fuel pump relay to check and see if it is bad or check the fuel cut off switch fuel pump not delivering fuel to the motor want to check these parts before ording a fuel...

The 97 Lesabre doesn't have a fuel cut off switch like some other vehicles do. The test I use is to check for power at the fuel pump harness connector near the fuel tank. When you turn the key from Off to Run the computer will close the fuel pump relay and supply power to the pump for about two seconds then it will turn the relay back off until you actually are cranking the engine over. This is a two person test as you need someone to turn the key to "Run" as the other person is checking for power at the connector. If you have over about 120,000 miles then the odds are pretty good that the pump has failed but It's always best to verify it with a test. Good luck and hope this helps!

How do u put in a fuel pump for my 95 Buick lesabre

Afraid the pump is inside the fuel tank.Have to drop the tank. Be sure to replace the filter on the frame also.

95 lesabre wont plugs and wires. fuel pump is working.

may have bad horn relay, for the no start check key chip and ignition switch could have bad chip contacts or just bad switch. hope this helps.

My wife ran her 95 buick lesabre out of gas today. When we try to start it and wants to turn over but doesn't? What could be the issue?

Looks like your battery has been drained out.Get it fully charged and then try starting the car........sodeep

95 lasabre. will stall while driving on highway or will not start until after several trys. car turns over. new battery. modual has been tested. at times have not been able to get it to start in 24 hrs.

Your problem is most often associated with a fuel pump problem or plugged filter. There are other items that can also do this such as a bad ignition switch or crank sensor (to name a few). Check pump operation and pressure and have a code scan done (unless checking module was a scan)
