The transfer case replacement-- is sort of exteme

What is ( the whole front end) mean-- in detail --parts wise

Your talking a 2008 vehicle,so it is pretty new to be
changing anything

You don't know what to do,I have issues with that

So I ask

Who did the diagnosing so far & why did you authorize
any work to be done so far

Provide some details of exactly what is going on & what
has improved-- as you threw away the money

Did you actually go for a test drive, with a mechanic,
that has to be done, before you ever leave any vehicle for
any reason

It isn't about Ford All vehicle makes have all the same issues I would like the long version & the vehicle to test but can't do that. I don't have a lot of confidence in the dealers but do respect the individual techs on a personal level. Explain their rational for all the component changing & what the noise sounds like to you & where you thing the problem is

IT is a whining sound from 0 to 40 then when u let off the gas it pulls to the left from the front end that is why i changed the front end. Both bearings have been changed to that was the first thing i tried. and i think the tech that told me it was the transfere case didnt know either he told me something so they could fix it but i do my owne work i didnt go to school for two years to work on cars for some one else to work on them but i am at a lost on this car i just dont know

Maybe jack the front of the car up and move up and down and front to back if there is a lot of play then it may be time to replace them but check both no need to just waist money that is un needed

1999 ford explorer limited whining noise in front end

Whining noise is probably in one of the pulleys or belts. Probably the power steering. And the popping is probably CV axles.

Ford explorer making loud roaring noise at 35 to 45 mph

what year is your explorer, if it is a newer one say within the last 10 years it could be from either the rear end or it could be from a hub bearing in the front end. these have problems with hub bearings going out.
