Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

I have a 93 Ranger, regular cab, that I am considering buying Nerf Bars for but I am not sure if they are a "universal fit". It also seems like any possible mounting spot is too high for any mounting

SOURCE: cab mount brackets are rusted looking to replace them

grind out the mounts on the body until you hit actual metal and weld some steel on it and make new mounts

SOURCE: westin nerf bars

Send them back and get the extended cab bars. if you have doors behind the passenger and driver seat it is the extended cab. If you don't want to do that, if you know a welder, they can weld them on for you.

Always in 4 wheel drive

Confrim this by lifting the front wheels off the ground, if that is the case the 4X4 Transfer case may be jammed or low on fluid. You may also have a defective actuator at the transfer case.

There is a cover with two screws, remove those two screws and you will find two flat bar "clips". Pull up on the bars to release the headlamp assembly.

Yes they do work but if you spend the money make sure you buy a brand name one not sure $20. one off the internet do some research.
