Does it have trailer light plug. After market trailer plugs cause all kinds of problems and should be removed and replaced when they do. Also check the bulb in another socket to make absolutely sure it is bad. I have been fooled more than once by newer bulbs that break connection towards the bottom and you can't see it

on your Blazer GM finally did something smart. Carquest Auto carries a socket board for these. It white, about the shape of Florida. These go out regularly. Just undo old assem. replace. and make sure your put dielectric grease on bottom of bulbs. should last a long time.

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.
