Depending on what size engine, it's most likely to the right side of myour engine on the front

No power steering , fluid is still in the resovoir, but have ni power steering


you need to open your hood to see if your belts on the pwer steering pump.if fluids in pump the only thing it can be is a bad pump,bad steering rack,or belts off of the pump.check just to make sure you have'nt thrown the belt please. thank you for choosing fixya.com

2003 olds alero has slack in steering replaced tie rod ends did not help hhobdy@hotmail.com


I have seen racks come loose on aleros and grand am's. Did you replace the inner tie rod ends, they may also be worn, you also have a small U joint on your steering shaft. I hope this all helps.

Oil all over the undercarraige... looks like a starter next to where the oil's coming from. It's a 2003 Alero front wheel drive, 4 cylinder. Is the main seal as close the the starter as it looks?

I don't think it is the main seal, it sounds more like the power steering pump. Are any of the reservoirs up top empty? Coolant? Brake fluid? Rocker cover gasket leaking>? Did you check the oil? Check this stuff out, and sorry to have to show you the web site. But , you would not believe the complaints. Hope this helps.

When i turn right and put on the brakes it makes a hummny noise and it dont do that when i turn left


power steering belt may be loose...thats the first thing to check and the power steering fluid

Check to see if your cv boots are torn. Each tire has a black boot on each side check them for holes if so replace boot before damage. it may be too late. It couls be a cv joint.
