You must find the source of the leak before any estimate of cost to repair can be made.

SOURCE: how to gain access to the headlight bulb on a cadillac escalade

pop the hood. locate two long metal pins - one goes in horizontally, one goes in vertically. Pull the pins and the assembly comes out. remove top rubber cover. Unplug bulb. Remove. Replace. Repeat.

SOURCE: I have a coolant leak on my 1994 Cadillac Deville.

Yes this models tend to do that, check the coolant mixture after repair, yes is a diy proyect but you at least will have basic mechanic abilities to perform this, make sure you mark all the hoses and cables when dismantling.

SOURCE: the coolant is leaking from my cadillac escalade

It could be your water pump gasket or thermastate gasket. Have you had any one of them parts replaced recently? They could have put the gaskets on slightly off center causeing it to leak. Find where the leak is coming from. Sometimes the gaskets if old do leak. And if you drive make sure you to watch the temperture gage. Shut off if it gets to hot or you could do damage to your motor. Good luck!
Also if its a slow leak you can put water in it if you not going to get it replaced right away. But make sure to use anti freeze if you think its going to get below 32 degrees soon. Because just water will freeze but for warm weather its a quick fix until you can get it to the mechanic.

SOURCE: Coolant leaking, apparently at heater core where

You could but it is a tricky job as you need to take a good part of the dash apart. I wouldn't bring it to the dealer unless you have cash to burn. The part will probably be a couple hundred and then 3-4 hours labor or so. Probable plan $600 or so.

Why does my 2000 Cadillac escalade smoke from the tail pype but the smoke is black

Black smoke usually means a very 'rich' mixture....but because this is run by the computer, it really means that the computer is being sent a message that there is a 'lean' mixture and it is trying to fix this. So, problem might be vacuum leak or O2 sensor.

My cadillac escalade is overheating

Check if an electric fan is working if it has one when it is hot.

Check if there are any leaks around the water pump.

If you haven't done so for a long time, flush the antifreeze out and install 50/50 water to coolant ratio, to the overflow tank. Then, add a bottle of sealant to make sure it doesn't seep out or leak.

Run the car normally.

Coolant leak/ squeak/ no heat

The squeak you hear is because coolant is leaking onto the belt making it slip and that is the squeak you hear. The reason your heater isn't working is because the coolant is low enough that it isn't able to circulate through the heater core and heat your car. If you are losing a gallon of coolant a week, I would guess you either have a coolant hose with a leak or your water pump is going bad and starting to leak. It could be getting weak which also would cause you to not have heat. I would get it fixed soon before the pump shells out on you and your engine overheats which could cause more damage to the engine.

Good luck
