The Haynes repair manuals are very good about showing the wiring diagrams for all wired connections. You can go to or contact the dealership and ask if they have one for free. Most wiring diagrams are going to cost if you have lost your owners manual.
The XJ 40 DOES NOT have a compliance plate as it is the first year they were owned by a American company Ford. The XJ 40 better known as the XJ 6 was fords experimenl change over. This went on from 1988 to 1994 and with every year you will find different things they changed that were problems with the preceding year . like the 88 & 89 had digital dash boards that failed a lot to hard wiring breaking so on 90 they changed that as well as a engine upgrade
Go to Autozone.com and register your vehicle for free. You can then download wiring diagrams and powerbox layouts for your van. If you do not have a suitable printer, use the Library. Some are free, some charge a minimal fee per copy.
Try checking out autozones free web site on auto repair or you could find one in a haynes or chiltons repair manual at your local auto parts store. Sometimes your local library may have a book or a local bookstore. Try a honda forum online, good chance someone would have the info on hand or lead you to the right place for a wiring diagram.
