Question about 1994 Saturn Sc

Emergency Flashers/ Turn Signals Dont Work Now

I parked my 1994 Saturn SC1 about 5:00pm and took a look around before going to bed at about 11:30pm and all was fine. I went out to get the paper at about 7:15 and found my emergency flashers on, I toggled the switch and the flashers went off, now neither the flashers nor the turn signals work, I have never had to use the emergency flashers so why were they on and why don't they work now????

I have a 1994 Saturn SC1, the emergency flashers came on by themselves over night and after toggeling the switch on and off neither the flashers nor the turn signals work now. I have checked fuses and the "Hazard/Turn Flasher" and all appear to be fine yet the flashers and signals still don't work. One of two answers I received was a loose wire, does this happen often and if so fron where does this wire typically come loose from? I do not have an electrical schematic to go by. Any other suggestions?

BAD Emerengency flash switch, it grounded out the circuit and probably burnt the turn signal/flasher fuse and may have possibly damaged flasher/turn signal relay(may not always happen)Replace flasher switch and that should solve the problem. Good luck, thanks for using FIX YA

If all fuses are ok, then it must be the electronic flasher that located under the dash. Its look like a relay but little longer than relay and had 9 pins. The parts you can buy online (I bought it and paid 42 dollars including shipping). There is a part number written over it (if you take it out, you will see). I forgot something like 4*****. This flasher is not available any local store as I checked when I had the same problem. I searched on google with the part number and found one website selling it and bought it from there, and received it within 3 days. The circuit diagram that I used later on (as puting that flasher still my signal didn't work only the emergency flasher was working.. so my previous flasher was ok as I had problem only with turn signals...(in your case you might be ok if you just change the flasher...if not..you can manually mutilate your turn signal function adding the following circuit that I had used to resolved the issue, instead of changing the whole BCM, which is expensive.)I am asuming you have enough electrical circuit knowledge although it requires the minimum knowledge to operate a volt meter to pick the right wire. If the circuit works, leave me an email as I will be happy to know that my knowledge helped you in some way

Flashers work fine but turn signals dont work

Well the emergency flashers and turn signals are on two different circuits.
Have you checked the turn signal fuses and to see if you have power in and out of the turn signal switch ?

I drive a 2000 mitsu. mirage. my turn signals just stopped working. i checked the bulbs the fuses they're good. the emergency flashers work im wondering if maybe its the turning module but i dont know...

The emergency flasher switch is also the turn signal flasher It pops out of the dash and can be replaced easy. do chaeck the fuses before going to this much troble. check all the fuses as some work backup circuits that you wouldn;t think would be important. Before replacing the flasher switch ( you may only be able to buy it from the dealer) work the switch several times and the flashers will come on cheak to see if allthe lights work thenturn the flashers off and see ( with the key on if the turn signals now work. Now if during the test with the four way flashers you see a bulb or more out you know that the turn signals wouldn't work, but the four ways will. they work on different fuses so chak the turnsignal fuse too. after cycling the switch try the turn signals again as the switch is likly to stick and sometimes cycling it will get the turn signals working again. Fooling around with the switch you may find a position that the turn signals work. if you can't get it to stay working then you'll have to change the flasher emergency switch.

Emergency Flashers totally out, Rear lights malfunctioning

Check the ground on the passenger side rear lights, it's likely bad. As for the hazards, sounds like a bad flasher or fuse.

Your signals work on a seperate system then your flashers. Sounds like your multifunction switch is busted.

Turning signals dont blink

Problem is the Turn Signal "FLASHER" unit, 1.Turn on Emergency FLASHERS 2. Go under Dash while they are on Listen -for Clicking sound then feel for it 3. Should Be a Silver Round Unit About as Big IN ROUND as Half dollar coin 4. ok now Look Around for the SAME EXACT Thing Clipped onto Something Under dash At Driver side Usually Between Steering wheel and Center HUMP in Floor, 5. once you find it Take OUT the first One you Found Emergency FLASHER) and 6. Put it In Place of Turn Signal Flasher, 7. Turn off Emergency Flashers- Turn Key in "ON" Position but don't start then Try Turn Signals. Yaaaa !!!! they work ?? LoL hopefully this Does the trick, if they work Buy new one and Replace Always Use NEW For TURN Signals as they are used Much More than Emergency Flashers. Hope this is Good Instructions For you and Helps you Solve The Problem, Please DONT Forget to RATE ME Thank you Rejakwilson@aol.com

Blinker dont work flasher and other lights work

The turn signals don't work, but the emergency flashers do? If that's the case, replace the flasher, you have 2 flashers, one for emergency (hazard) flasher, and one for the turn signals. It should be on the fuse block under the dash.

Blinkers stopped working

Your F--150 has 2 flashers, emergency and turn signal. Both are mounted on the fuse block under the dash. The turn signal flasher is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, the emergency flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel. so replace the turn signal flasher should solve the problem. Let me know how it goes.
