Question about 2010 Chrysler 300 C
Ac and rear defrost light will come on at the same time. The ac light will blink 3 times then both lights will go off. Then it waits 10 seconds and start again. I think it is in some kind of code mode but I want to know what it is before going to the dealer. Thanks!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: engine light fr ash 10 time
what your check engine light is doing is called the key dance.
The "Key Dance" is a coined term to identify a process of reading MIL fault codes stored by your cars engine computer (PCM). You cycle your ignition key from off to on (not start) 3 times leaving it on. You then count the number of times the Service Engine Soon light flashes. This combination of flashes identifies a fault code. For example, a code 21 would be flash, flash, pause, flash. All codes are 2 digits. Multiple codes are seperated by longer pauses. It should end with a code 55 indicating the process is finished.
Sometimes in newer models, the code is shown on the trip odometer. They would be P codes.
I would pull out my obd code reader and find out what it's telling me. Some parts places (Autozone, O'Reilys, etc) would even have a code reader you could borrow to check for any obd codes.

SOURCE: flashing lights
Hi, had the same problem today. Solution: Start engine, blower on max, air direction to cabin, press rear wiper and rear wash buttons simulanteously for 5 seconds (all lights now on steady). Calibration test starts and lights flsh alternately. After first test, AC and recurculation lights flash for the cool down test. If all test pass then rear wiper light blinks slowly (press to exit self test). If AC and recurculation test fails then just 2 lights stay on. To repeat this part of the test press just AC and rear wash simulanteously ( may take several attempts and usually best when engine is cold). Again exit by pressing the rear wiper button once it is the only one flashing (slow blink).
This does work but it took me 15 minutes to finally switch them off!!!

Ther power will need to be on for 2hrs, that is the radio will need to be turned on for 2 hours with the ignition on. If you have done this already then the radio will need re-coding, this sometimes happens. You dont have to go to a dealer there is independant decoders around. let me know if you cant find pne.

Turn the ignition switch on off on off on off on. After the third time the check engine light should start blinking codes. It will start with 12. That is the start of codes code. It will end with 55. That is the end of codes code. You just want to know what codes are inbetween 12 and 55
