Car takes quite long to warm up. is there different thermostats?

That wont help you much at all. By the time the stat opens up your car is already warm. The different temps between the 2 wouldn't really make a difference. Your car is just cold blooded. I know the feeling cuz my truck is also. You could try the winter stat for your vehicle, if available, wouldn't get my hopes up but anything is possible. Good luck

Hard to start in the mornings

What does it sound like? It could be a battery going bad. It could be the starter is going bad. It could be your car is cold blood like when I was in CO. in the winter the car would not start and we had to put a light under it to keep it warn. You can put a car light under the car and the heat from the light will keep the car engine warm. Maybe this will help. the reason that I asked what it sounds like is because if it sound like it is trying to turn over but takes a little while it could be either the battery or starter. Take it to an auto shop like Auto Zone or Advance auto and they can check the car or truck for free and tell you if you have a bad starter or battery.

2000 Pontiac Sunfire, 2.2 litre engine, automatic. Suspected bad heater in O2 sensor. Idles really rough when first started up in the morning. Exhaust smells really gassy. After engine warms up runs great...

i wouldn't be looking at the o2 sensors! look at the coolant temp sensor! when the car is cold it doesn't correct fuel & air ratio until it is warm so it is not looking at the o2's till then! if the sensor is bad and telling the computer it is warm when it is cold them it would be leaned out and run like that then when the car gets warm it's fine because the sensor is still saying it's warm! would be the opisite if it went bad and was telling the computer it was cold! that is a sure sign of the temp sensor being bad! good luck

Hard to start on cold mornings but starts fine when warm

The cold start valve is not operating correctly. Either the engine coolant temperature sensor is bad or the cold start valve itself is bad. You can check the engine coolant temperature sensor by going to radio shack or any electronic store and purchase a 15k ohm or higher resistor. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECTS) harness. Bridge the 2 female spade connections in the harness with the resistor. Start the engine. If the engine starts you need to replace the ECTS. If the engine is still hard to start, you need to remove the cold start valve, (wear safety goggles, and whatever you do don't smoke) place the cold start valve in a glass and have someone crank the engine. You should see gas coming out from the cold start valve. If not take a ohm meter and measure the terminal at the cold start valve after disconnecting the wire harness. The meter should read 25 ohms. If it doesn't replace the cold start valve.
