Probably requires removal of fuel tank -- not an easy job, and dangerous as well.

What other motor are the starters compatible with a 94 Nissan quest

Well the starter is used on Quest models from 1993 thru 2002, and some Maxima models from 1992-1994. It also is used on Mercury Villager models.

Where is the 4 channel amp located in the 94 nissan quest.?I am trying to install a stereo and there is no sound due to the amp. I need to know how to wire with the built in amp.

I just installed an after market radio in my 94 Quest.
The easiest way is to buy a Nissan Quest Radio Wiring Harness for Premium Sound. It will have the complete wire hookups. You can also hook up the blue wire from the new radio to thefactory (I think Blue or Blue/White) wire on the harness. That will turn the factory amp on.Hope this helps ,good luck

94 nissan quest has started idling at 500 rpm. I

Jeff did you figure this out. I am dealing with the exact same thing currently. Things to look at are Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF), Throttle position Sensor (TPS), Air Idle control valve. I have played with everything but the Air control valve. I tried three different MAF, including a ghost sensor (circuit to match ressitance). I'm going to investigate the air idle control tommorrow. Let me know if this helps or if you get it figured oot
