Question about 2005 Chevrolet Colorado
I have a 2007 Impala Chevrolet and the automatic door locks are not working after replacing batteries. If I drive the car and when I turn it off and get out I can lock the car with the remote but then it won't work again.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

i had the same problem... go through the menu until you see reprogram remote. hit the check mark button and hold the lock and unlock button until the horn honks. key has to be on car not running though. You will eventually have to do it again but for some reason it will work for a while.

try punching the remote lock button twice. experience with 4 door s-blazers shows that it has to be done twice to lock all 4 doors. also look for "child safety" switched for the rear doors that may be disabling remote locking for the rears.

Passenger side of the fender under the hood - check the fuse relay box - about $12.00 a piece - they do go bad from time to time.
exchange the power lock relay with another one and test the locks.
then put the relay back and go to the autostore.

I recently repaired a similar problem for a friend of mine. I posted the procedure on our website. Here's the link:
