Sounds like low fuel pressure. Check your fuel pressure. If you have the 3.1 liter engine and just turn the key to the "on" position you should have around 41 - 47 PSI. When running it should have about 31 - 44 PSI. If you have the 2.5 liter engine you should have 26 - 32 PSI of pressure when running. I hope this helps and good luck.
I also have a 91 chevy lumina with the same problem, have replaced the coil packs, throttle sensor, crank sensor and new spark-plugs and still the same problem. Also how many wires connect the the crank sensor as I have two wires that are discconected. Any help will be will better than replacing parts that I don't need to. I am disabled with MS and my car is my legs!!
Is yourd check engine light on? If it is, I would have the codes read first thing. If not, it could be clogged fuel filter or air filter, loose vacuum hose, or bad throttle position sensor or other sensor but the sensors or any electrical problem will set off check engine light.
