SOURCE: peugeot 306 problem

Thes have a weak point with the pump in the tank. It is under a cap under the rear seat, get someone to turn the ignition on and listen if no noise give it a tap and see if it whirrs, slacken a pipe on the filter and see if there is pressure, if not the pumps are available from factors or on line.

SOURCE: can a speed sensor failing cause my Peugeot 307

an approved/competent peugeot dealer with peugeot diagnostic equipment can connect it to your vehicle and check the signals from the camshaft and crankshaft sensors. there shouldn't be any doubt about it. the engine control unit(ecu) needs both sensor readings(to identify which cylinder to inject fuel into)before it can start. a new cam sensor has a plastic nipple which should be in contact with the target plate when first fitted, this brakes off when the engine is started. it is used to ensure the correct gap between sensor and target plate. to large a gap and the sensor may not work correctly. once engine is started this info' is ignored by the ecu. the fuel pressure(measured by another sensor) can also be checked and is displayed on the equipment in "bars". 250bars of pressure are needed for engine to start. one of these (cam, crank, or fuel pressure signals) must be wrong if engine is not starting(assuming uncontaminated fuel). which one determines diagnostic path to be followed.

P01676 the vehicle can't start

The code is listed as Wiring, alternator, battery discharged, multifunction control module for a 307/407 (see link below:)
PEUGEOT 307 407 807 FaultCodes 0601

There is very little information for your particular model. Though I would suspect it is the same fault.
Check all cables to and from the alternator for burning or damage/corrosion. Make sure they are clean and tight.

If the car still doesn't start, try disconnecting the cables from the rear of the alternator and then try starting it.

However, it may relate to a poor signal to/from the injectors.

Try cleaning the electrical connectors on the injectors and make sure any earth wires aren't corroded and are securely tightened.

You can try disconnecting your battery at the positive terminal for 30 minutes (but remember you will probably lose your radio code..).

Were is the fuse box in Peugeot 407 2004

It's in the engine compartment, in front of the driver, under a cover.
Some models have another fuse box at the left knee of the driver, behind a panel which can be removed easily.

It suddenly wont start. when we try to turn it over it makes a clicking sound that sounds like it is coming from the starter.

it probably is the starter. the solenoid is probably getting power but not the starter motor, it may have a dead spot on it, if you can make the starter move a bit, it might start, if so replace the starter. starters arent cheap though, if possible have someone test it before you start throwing parts at it.

1990 oldsmobile silhouette wont start

Even though the lights work the battery should be load tested to see if it can handle a heavy amp. draw like the starter. If you have a battery charger, but it on the battery and leave it for a few hours. Also check the battery connections to be sure they are clean. If it starts check to make sure the alternators is chargeing the battery.
