If it wont turn over try the neutral safety switch, if it wont start in neutral either the switch most likely needs to be replaced.

This could be caused by a faulty Crank position sensor. The computers are expensive for this and not something that commonly fails on these. Have the fuel pumpchecked for operation and pressure. Check for spark at the plugs. Then we can procede further if you would like.

SOURCE: fuel injectors,ineed tochange fuel

Best Practices

  • Using lower quality gasoline can result in recurring fuel injector problems, even after a fuel injector replacement.

  • Fuel injector seals should always be replaced along with fuel injectors.

Common Symptoms
  • Failing fuel injectors can cause engine misfiring and hesitation. The Check Engine Light may come on and set diagnostic trouble code(s).

First try to squirt some starter fluid in air intake, then try and start , if fires and runs for a split second then dies, most likely possible fuel pump bad. Thanks mike. Please let me know on results of starter fluid, then we go from there.

Engine turns over, but doesn't start. Displays "start error" in dash. It is not getting fuel pulse from injectors but does have spark.

mam or sir.... you have a m-class! you aught to have a book on it or an online guide to repair. it sounds like a injector problem or a fuel pump issues. take to a mechanic please. take care of that baby.

the air flow is not restricted to richen the mixture, the fuel injector pulse weith is adjusted for more fuel flow based on coolant temp, air charge temp and barometric pressure, so much mis-information out there. I think your problem may be a failing fuel pump.
