Dodge ram 1500 wobble when braking

I upgraded them to EBC drilled slotted and it still continued, thx for trying

    just got news from chrysler and its the bushes in the steering colum.

There is chrysler TSB 02-001-07 Rev. A. that addresses this issue. it requires replacement of the control arm bushings. if your vehicle is still under warranty this will be covered. if your dealership has the parts the repair takes about 4 hours

Do the taillights work? If so it might just be the bulb. If not then the wiring is broke some where or loose.

use a 1/16 drill bit to drill thru indicator to break bulb. light will not come on when started again

Your rims are not properply seating on yje hubs.make sure yje center hole on the rim is fitting over the axle hubs. Check for chamfering of the inner edge of the rim hole so the radius on the hubs don't eep the wheel from fully seating.. After market rims are not generic fit. You risk losing a wheel going down the road if fit is not corrected.

only comes as a whole pedal assembly. not to hard to change out though just takes a little while if its your first one

warped rotors.
replace with drilled & slotted ones to reduce heat buildup and warpage

Diagnostic code P2299 for 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi?


P2299-BRAKE PEDAL POSITION / ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION INCOMPATIBLE

Set Condition:
The PCM recognizes a brake application following the APPS showing a fixed pedal opening. Temporary or permanent. Internally the PCM will reduce throttle opening below driver demand. One trip fault and the code will be set within 5 seconds. ETC light will illuminate, the light will only stay illuminated while DTC is active.




Possible Causes

DRIVER PRESSING ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THEN PRESSING BRAKE PEDAL, AND CONTINUES TO HOLD THEM DOWN SIMULTANEOUSLY

STOP LAMP SWITCH

APP SENSOR


The most likely cause of this DTC is Brake Torquing the engine by pressing the Accelerator pedal and the pressing the Brake Pedal.
