Question about Mercedes-Benz C200
Got engine light p2058 error code. o2 censor was replaced. after 100k driving error code is on again. hoses were replaced, after 100k driving error code is on again. i notice the trip computer, when driving at times for 30 minutes shows 10.3/l 100km even driving fast or slow and doesnt change.

SOURCE: cranks but wont turn over
you know. i took it to a mechanic and actually.... The timing belt cut the Crank Shaft Censor... So it was the crank shaft censor again. The wires were routed wrong from the first mechanic that "fixed" the car.

Hi,first thing your cambelt and tensioner should have been replaced 13k miles ago,it would pay you to replace the water pump at the same time as they are known for impellor failure = cooling system fault=P2181 code,hope this helps.

You may not have put the right amount of oil in your car, your oil pressure sensor could be faulty, or you may have a leak.
By revving your engine, you're increasing the pressure and thus turning off the light and making the sensor think that it's at the correct pressure.

The following are malfunctions that could cause a rich condition:
^ Fuel pressure too high. Perform fuel pressure test.
^ Leaking fuel injector(s). - Perform pressure leak down test.
^ Vacuum leak around the MAP sensor grommet.
^ Oxygen sensor contamination.
^ Restricted exhaust or air intake.
^ Fuel Vapor Canister saturated with fuel.
IMPORTANT: If the front oxygen reading voltage is above 600 mV and the rear HO2S is above 600 mV all the time, the O2 sensors are probably not

I would have a look at your coolant sensor, if it's reading the wrong temperature, it will cause a idle problem. If you can, get a scanner on it to verify it's operation.
