1996 Plymouth Acclaim. How do I disassemble the inner CV joint shaft?

The inner joint is held to the shaft using a c clip. Put the shaft in a vise and using a hammer, strike the back of the inner joint with enough force to release the clip and the joint will seperate from the shaft. Replacing the entire axle assembly if funds are available is more economical due to age and possible wear of the joint. It will come with a warranty on the cv joints and boots

Fix front wheel universal on full size chevy truck

Remove the tire, brakes, and rotor.Remove the bolts for the bearing and the bearing. pull the axle out threw the hole. Look at the universal, how it is held in. You have clips, remove them. Factory ones are held with plastic. You have to burn this plastic out of the carriers. Then press the U joints out and back in. New U joints come with clips.

How to pull radiator out of 1 impala 3.4

Its realy not that hard to remove radiators and you don't need a lot of tool to do it. The first thing you need to do is find the small drain on the bottom of the radiator called the petcock usely has a thumb screw or plastic nut. And also has a nipple to attach a small hose to . Open the petcock after you attach the hose and let it drain into a container you olny need to drain a qt and a half out or so .Then you need to remove the fan shroud witch is held together with small bolts 5/16 or 8 mm. If you have remote fans disconect the electrical conecters and they will come out with the shroud . Then disconnect the radiator hoses top first then the bottom you will loose more antifreeze so put your container under the bottom hose and do it slowly but most ou the antifreeze is in the engine block so elevate the hoses wedge them behind what ever you is easyest in the engine compartment . If you have an automatic transmission you will need to remove the cooling lines that go into the radiator . You will see two plastic clips 1 red and 1 blue on most chevys . They will expand and pull of by hand . Under those will be small clips called E clips that can be easly removed with a small screw driver these hold the Orings tight that seal the oil lines .Once again eleavte these lines so they don't leak oil on the ground . Then lift the radiator out and tip it to drain the rest of the antifreeze and oil into a container and your done .you may want to get new Eclips and O rings for the oil line seals if you see any damage to them but if they look OK then you can reuse them . Wonce you see it and have done it you'll see its not hard to do good luck

How does cover of air box come off after to bolts from brace above radiator are removed?

look for a metal clip or another bolt you may be overlooking. also some boxes have plastic tabs that fit together and keeps the lid from being pulled straight off. you have to kind of slide these apart. hope this helps.

How do i remove driveshafts

We'll do one side of the car and you can repeat the steps on the other side, before you remove the wheels you have to remove the large centre nut that holds on the cv joint. the nut is in the centre between the wheel nuts, its normal a 34'' or 36'' you'll have to us a power bar as they can be tight. once the nut is removed, jack the car up and remove the wheel, next you have to remove the nut holding the (bottom) ball joint, when the nut is off the ball joint will be hard to seperate hit the ball joint on all sides with a hammer if it still wont move you will have you use a ball joint seperater (fork shape) to brake the connection. once the ball joint is removed you can (tap) the the cv joint out of its housing in the centre of the wheel( where the big nut was ) be careful not to damage the treads. with the cv joint free the driveshaft will hand free some off them just pull out when you remove the clips on the rubber booth attached to the driveshaft and gearbox, others booths are bolted in with small 13mm bolts, repeat the process on the other side. good look I hope this helps (Rate me answer please)

Oil cooler line replacement on a 1998 Suburban How to get the lines off of the oil pump

Ok...answer to the question about how to remove the oil cooler lines from the oil filter housing. Once you remove the oil cooler line, either upper or lower (Or both) from the radiator. By the way, I have a 98 GMC suburban 2wd 1500, I was able to just remove the fan housing and unbolt the fan by the four bolts behind the blade, this gave me the room to remove bottom half of fan shroud.
Once lines disconnected from radiator, there is a retainer clip that holds the hose into the nut that is screwed into the oil filter housing. I doused the nuts with WD40, then removed the clip with a screw driver. BE CAREFUL not to let the clips get away from you because it would be a pain to replace. Autozone does not carry nut nor clip!!!!! The hoses are held together by a clip and attached to a bracket as you follow the line toward the front of the truck.
Once clips are removed, tug on each line individually away from the nut screwed into the oil filter housing and wahlaa. Remove the nut and clean all the old teflon tape off with a steel brush and WD40. I reinserted the clip back into the nut and with the new oil line in my hand, pressed the line into the nut with the clip in place. This way you can see how the nut and clip lock the hose in place. Enjoy and I hope this helps you out.
Oh.....use teflon tape on the radiator treads as well as the oil filter housing threads. Install starting at the radiator housing. Snug the bolt (1' 1/16" socket) with the retainer clip inserted.

what you have and are attempting to do is seperate the A/C condensor from the radiator. They are most usually bolted together. You need to keep looking to find where they have been joined, sometimes the bolt will almost be hidden.
