How do I replace dome light on Matrix 2009

Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it.
Make sure the dome lighting switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver.
Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty.
Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel. Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it.
Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place.

Need to install new neutral safety switch on tranny of 1979 Ford F150 - any tips or problems I may encounter? Does the new switch need to be adjusted after install or just bolted in place? thanks, also the...

There is a procedure to set the switch so that it will start in neutral and park and not in drive or reverse, there are two slotted mounting holes on the switch for adjustment purposes to get it close put a scribe mark on the old switch in relation to the mounting bolt heads, when installing new switch look at the marks on the old switch to approximately locate the switch in relation to mounting bolt heads. When removing the switch make sure the truck is in park, remove the shift lever nut off the transmission where the Neutral safety switch is, then unplug the wire going to the switch, mark the bolt relation to switch as described and slide switch off the transmission shift shaft, the inside of switch hole is not round it has a flat or square type hole so it can lock into shaft and turn with shaft you may need to rotate the switch back and forth to slide it over the shift shaft when installing the new switch. bolt it on after sliding it over the shaft noting the aproximate location using the scribe marks on old switch, after assembling the shift lever and plugging the wire back in a fine adjustment of switch amy be needed if the starter doesn't activate, get under the truck loosen the hold down bolts for the switch and have an assistant hold the ignition switch to the start position while you rotate the switch when the starter activates lock down the bolts and check after to be sure the truck won't start in drive or reverse adjust accordingly.

There will be a small retaining clip that holds it in. You need to remove the clip and slide it off the shaft. The only problem is that you just about need to stand on your head to see what your doing. Good luck.

Blown head gasget

Well what you may have to do is replace the gasket.
U have to buy one and then replace it. In order to do that u have to take the heads off. Take the old gasket off. Put your new one where the old one was. And apply some sealant so that it will stay. Once u do that. Just put everything back together. Or u can take the easy way and pay someone to do it. But thats all that i know. Hopefully it helps you with your problem.
