YOU HOOKED THE GROUND FOR THE RADIO TO THE WIRE FOR RADIO LIGHT FROM THE FACTORY UNIT. THAT WIRE IS DRAK BROWN AND WILL SHOW AS A GROUND UNTIL YOU TURN ON THE LIGHTS. YOUR FUSE FOR PARKING LIGHTS WILL ALSO BE BLOWN. I DID THIS AND FIXED IT ALSO.

the screws for the dash are behind the heater vents, the heater vents pop out, one side of it will pop out with alittle pressure, a small flathead should do,theres four, two in the middle ,and one vent on either side.(took me two days of pulling hair and profanity to figure this out)

you can go to radio shack or other store and buy a plug adapter for your brand of radio that will match both the radio and the cars wiring so all you have to do is disconnect the factory radio and plug in the adapter to the radio and the original car wiring plug and your set to go without figuring out which wires to connect to and removing the possibility of causing wiring problems with the car
