Re: how do I replace the headlights on a 2003 montana...
Dim headlights are almost always caused by a loose ground or corroded ground, the ground wires are near the head lights attached to the inside of the fender, check them, pull them off and clean them and the surface they attach to with sand paper.

When replacing headlight bulbs it's best to wear gloves as the oil from your skin can actually damage the new bulb. Spray out the headlight socket with some electrical cleaner and make sure the bulb is properly seated with no bent wires on the the bulb where it inserts into the socket.
yes very simple pop the hood look down behind the light, should be a rubber wire with a little bit of pulling an turning it should pop out, check to make sure there are no bolts or screws holding it in, also check to see if bulb is actually burnt out, replace bulb
