There is something faulty about the passlock system on these cars. It's happened to me. Nothing wrong with the car, but when you go to start you get nothing. Don't worry all you have to do I reset the security system. Turn the car to ON and you will notice the security light come on and blinking. You have to let it sit for about 10 minutes until the security light turns off. Then turn the key off and then start. Problem solved. Try taking a air compressor to the inside of the ignition to clean the sensor inside.
