Try changing the fuel lines, if they are cloged from debris that could be the cause.

When the fuel pump was replaced ,did the pressure and return lines get put back in the right tubes? What do you mean by a new "injector spider" system,I've never heard the term.Have you checked for bent fuel lines?Where are you doing your pressure tests from?A little more info would be most helpful, thanks.

check the fuel pressure regulator. in the front of the engine
it connect to the fuel lines .

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  3. Remove the upper manifold assembly.
NOTE If the fuel pressure regulator is to be reinstalled, inspect the filter screen (if equipped) for contamination. If the filter screen is contaminated, replace the regulator.
  4. Disassemble the fuel pressure regulator snap ring retainer.
  5. Disassemble the regulator assembly and the O-rings.
  6. Discard the O-rings.
To install:
  1. Lubricate the new O-rings with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the backup O-ring, the large O-ring, the filter and the small O-ring.
  3. Assemble the regulator with the vacuum tube pointing down into the snap ring retainer.
  4. Install the upper manifold assembly.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
check the regulator and replace if its faulty. This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma sls, with a 4.3 vortec engine. I've put a ton of new parts in. It's hard to start. Then when it does start. It will run for about one minute then dies. Why, and what's the possible...

Fuel. Check fuel pressure. Replace the fuel filter. When you do this and if you still have problems. Then go after the fuel injection. It is under the plenum on top of the engine. This is a pricey part. I would replace the fuel pressure regulator first(still under the plenum) then replace the spider injection, as they call it. But when you get in there and you see the plastic injector lines broken, replace it all.

Where is fuel pump relay switch located on a 94 gmc Sonoma. Cannot locate to test. Truck starts but as driving the is a click noise and shuts off. It restarts after a minute. Please help

Check in main fuse block with other relays. Should be labeled. Relay kicking out may be caused by overheating = bad fuel pump or dirty filter. Test fuel pressure too.

1996 gmc sonoma, wont start, if i prime it it will start then it dies, already replace the fuel filter and fuel

Have you hooked up a preesure gauge, if youre priming it by turning the key a few times i would say you have a fuel pump thats low on pressure and probably should be replaced.

Cold start problem

I should not drop more than 5 psi overnight, if it does it lets the fuel drain back to the tank, this causes long crank times because the pump has to refill the lines and filter before injectors get fuel.
