Odometer

if your refering to the odometer lights going out this happens alot I see. one of the circuits on the back of your cluster shorts and actually gets pretty hot then some times tapping your odometer reset gets it back on usually only a temp fix :O( I read a few years back that odometers are warranteed for life by buick. dont quote me on this as it was about 8 years ago and may no longer pattain. I had mine go out. bought a new one on ebay and 2 years later say thing.

so the only thing not working is the fuel gauge? the odometer , speedometer , and rpm gauge work, but dont light up? if so, does the radio or any other lights illuminate? check your dimmer switch for these issues. please let me know a little more information

1996 plymouth minivan will turn over but not start, however it has no blinkers yet the E-lights work, the odometer came on when i tor apart the fuses yet it turned out to not matter cuz it stopped wo

that did cause your problem. there is a crank postion sensor on the top of the ******. with a bad crank position sensor you will get no spark .

I have problem in putting out the light of maintenance was done him

push odometer button until the mileage is shown, turn key off, now hold in the button in while turning key on (dont start engine) keep holding button in and the odometer will have dashes, it will count down until the dashes go away, now light is reset.

The digital odometer is out - where should I start

most likely the cluster is bad. But a qualified repair shop will need to get a wiring diagram and diagnose it properly. If it you dont have much money, and you dont care what the mileage reads, dont worry about it.
