SOURCE: 1996 mitsubishi eclipse doesn't start when turning

check for voltage at the small start wire on the starter when cranking the engine--you will need someone help. If there is no voltage you may have a bad neutral safety switch ,which is on the trany shifter.you have an automatic trans i assume.
If so try putting in neutral when cranking.

SOURCE: how to remove broken key from the ignition switch

e
if it's broken off just to the inside of the ignition, try using two sewing needles. use them like prybars one on each side. even try a strong magnet. duct tape pushed into the lock to the key might even work. if know one knows but you and you can still start and lock and unlock the car why worry.

SOURCE: Is there a way to get an 07 mitsubishi eclipse spyder GT into gear without the key to the vehicle?

Take off the parking brake and use a wheeled floor jack under the drive wheels to move it for now(don't lift it any higher than necessary).

without a workshop manual to guide you through the procedure of course you will be lost

Key stuck in ignition 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse

make sure there's not release button first.
turn the key all the way back and forth (without starting it)
wiggle the key rapidly while trying to slowly pull the key out.

once you get it out try putting some graphite power in there and working it back and forth

Lost key to start car, what can i do ? locksmith could not make a key

you're stuck paying the dealer. You can sometimes find blank keys on ebay, but I think the dealer has to program them for the car anti-theft system.

I lost my final key to my eclipse 95, wondering what i have to do, get a new key( is it possible? ), or change all the locks ? and if so, where do i get new locks

You can get a new key at the dealership, your going to need the ownership and the vin number to the car. They can get the key code to cut a new for you so you don't have to replace all the locks. Good luck and keep me posted.
