SOURCE: loud noise and vibration in the hole car when driving especially

By the sound of what your saying i think the easiest and cheapest thing is to check the driveshaft. Besure to check the uni's. You may not see any problem with it if this is the case remove it and check the yoke of the gearbox & diff if these are ok take the driveshaft in in the shop to be rebalanced.

I have a 2005 golf fsi 2.0 tiptronic. The car makes a loud bang when slowing down only sometimes

Hi,
Are you able to tell me where the loud banging sound is coming from?
Also when this bang happens does the car react in anyway?
Let me know and we can try to get a solution sorted for you.
Thanks
Jason

Loud banging noise when i go over a bump on passenger side front and a clicking when i pull into a parking spot or three point turn both left and right took it to dealership say they cant find anything

The clicking is the halfshafts or front wheel drive axles. I have a hard time believing that they have went bad already but anything is possible. The banging noise is something in the suspension, perhaps struts or a sway bar link.

X-type 2004 when i go over a bump i get a loud banging noise, slow down it goes, but as soon as i hit a bump it starts again, brakes ,discs ,pads are all fine!!

check carefully on the underside for the silencer pipe rubbing against the body when the suspension is pushed mainly due to any damage. Also it could be damaged shock absobers or dampeners. check this out

Front suspension noise

If it's a loud bang then I had the same problem with mine after I took it in for some new front tyres. the mechanic said I needed a new steering rack...he was so wrong it makes me sick to think he gets payed for it.

had the camera handy so I put a quick video together for ya. Hope that's it.
