The acceleration of the car get louder at 55mph and higher. At lower speed the cars sound normal. It's not a strange noise just louder.

I think you should take your car to a local tire shop.
If you happen to have a Pep-boys around where you live try them first.
The tire could have lost a weight and is out of balance.
Your car isn't very old and the Japanese have really good bearings in their products.
Even still the wheel bearing can be tightened if that is the case.
Shouldn't cost more than 20 bucks.
If I've been any help give me a vote.
Thanks,Gary

It likely had water on the ignition system. The check engine light will flash for misfire. The VSC light is on just because the check engine light is on. You likely have it dried out now and its fine. You just need to clear the codes. Autozone will do this for free.

This is a transmission problem. Both your Traction Control and Engine light are on because of an issue with your transmission.

I would take it to an authorized transmission repair shop immediately. Avoid driving it there. I suggest a tow.

Sorry to hear about your issue and I hope everything gets resolved quickly.

You need to get the engine trouble codes by performing the "keydance" or using a code reader, then start checking fuel pressure at pump and regulator. Best luck. Amclaussen.

Have you checked your oil and fluid levels in the engine and transmisson.
if it's a manual could the clutch be worn out causing the high rpm and thrust bearing noise in the clutch.

I would suspect it is a wheel bearing issue, if it sounds similar to a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle, stays somewhat same pitch just louder with speed that is where I would look. Does noise go away or change when making turns?

it sounds like a loose compression compressor.

if the compressor is loose compression, normally it sounds noisy. then suction pressure is above normal and if you accelerate and maintains that high speed, let say 2000 rpm, the suction pressure goes down to the normal level and cools your air conditioning .
